What VIVID means by cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small values stored by a browser and sent with relevant requests. Browser storage, such as local storage, can remember preferences on a device without being sent with every request. VIVID uses these technologies only where they support the website or authorized platform experience.

Essential storage

Essential storage supports functions that users reasonably expect to work. It cannot always be disabled without affecting secure or personalized functionality.

• Secure authentication and session handling for authorized Admin and Center accounts.
• Interface preferences such as light or dark appearance on operational surfaces.
• Cookie-consent preference so the public banner does not reappear on every visit.
• Security, request integrity and service-delivery functions required to operate the platform.

Optional analytics or marketing technologies

The current public consent component does not itself activate an advertising or behavioral-tracking service. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, they should be classified separately and activated only after the required consent is obtained.

The public website offers an Accept choice and an Essential only choice. Your selection is stored on the device for up to one year unless you clear browser data sooner. Clearing site data may cause the banner to appear again.

Changes to this policy

This policy should be updated whenever VIVID materially changes the technologies used on the website, introduces a new optional tracking category or changes how consent is collected.
